陳澍城在娛樂圈有超過30年的經驗，從電視黑白片時代到今天，一直孜孜不倦，是新傳媒非常傑出的資深藝人，也是許多新藝人的典範。新傳媒的後輩藝人，無不尊稱他為「澍城大哥」。在2002年《紅星大獎》上，陳澍城獲頒「特別成就獎」，可說是實至名歸。
機智過人的澍城深受廣告商的認同與讚賞。他也因此被廣告商選為宜康之夜 與歡樂周末夜的長期節目主持。主持經驗豐富的他更是主持現場與大型節目的最佳人選。
澍城不但演技精湛，也是一位非常有職業道德的藝人。即使碰到演出的戲份不多，他也都做足功課，務必讓每一次的演出都盡善盡美。同時，澍城大哥也不忘提攜後進 ，無論是戲劇或綜藝主持，都毫不吝嗇地指點後輩。率直的個性，認真的態度，贏得台前幕後的尊敬。
